Forest Day

To protect the greenery, the natural resources, the beauty and the bounty that our planet has generously bestowed upon us, KG students celebrated ‘Forest Day’. The class room was changed to a mini forest. There were different types of plants and a water fall. The whole atmosphere was charged by different sounds of animals, birds and insects. Students got a glimpse of how different animals live in harmony in the forest. They also learnt, about different resources humans get from forest such as honey, flowers, timbers etc. To enhance the beauty of the forest many students came to school disguised as wild animals, hunter, woodcutter and trees. The students in tribal attire guarded the forest. Students through colourful enactments conveyed the message to audience that trees and wild animals are very important for human’s survival and existence.
