Plantation Day

To sensitive students on the value of tree plantation and importance of keeping Earth green, tree plantation programme was organized for KG classes. The students showcased their artistic talent by drawing and colouring the leaves and the flowers of a plant. The teacher explained different parts of the plant with the help of a plant. The students interacted with their mentor and spoke about the things that they get from the plants. After class activity the students along with their teachers and support staff went to the plantation area. They mixed the manure with freshly dug earth and thereafter planted saplings of neem, tulsi, jamun and many more. The school gardener taught the students right way to plant saplings, and ways to take care of young plants. At the end of the activity there was a smile on each ones face which was captured by the school photographer. Some students carried saplings home for planting in their neighbourhood.
