Children's Day Celebration

The most awaited event of the year Children’s Day was celebrated in St. John’s School, Abu Road on 14th November 2019. Not only the stage but the whole school was decorated for the event. The Bulletin Boards were specially decorated for the students. A mega programme was organized by the teachers for their loving students. The programme began with the Lamp Lighting ceremony along with the praises to the Almighty which filled the atmosphere with divinity. The teachers and students remembered Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, Our First Prime Minister and celebrated the love that he had for all children. The students arrived at school dressed in colourful dresses and were full of excitement to witness their teachers performing for them. The teachers presented songs, dances and acts. They also played musical instruments for the students. The teachers brought out the child in them and danced with their students. Many sports and fun events were conducted for the children by their Class Teachers. The winners were awarded. Honourable Principal Ma’am asked the students to be more focused towards their goals and asked the students to not let the child in them wither. The students were full of stories about their special day at school, “The Children’s Day”.
