Transportation Day

To familiarize the students about transportation and Road Safety, Transportation Day was celebrated in St. John's School, Abu Road on 26.11.2019 for HKG Class. It was a day of a great excitement and learning for them. As we are aware that visuals linger to the minds of the children get attracted towards colourful things. The area was converted into a busy road. There were glimpses of different modes of transportation, different, road signs, traffic lights and a traffic police to instruct about traffic rules. The whole scene was thoughtfully made in a innovating way. The teachers explained the kids about the means of transportation and types of it. The kids were quizzed on the topic and it was amazing to see that they were able to answer quickly and confidently. They were able to identify road signs and traffic lights. The students got the chance to explore their talents and learnt how to walk on the road observing all safety rules. The activity was organized by the teachers Dipali Agarwal, Pooja Kant and Sunita Sharma.
