Christmas Celebration

On 21 December, St. John's School, Abu Road celebrated the grandeur of Christmas and New Year in all its joy and happiness. Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Soaking in the spirit of festivities, students prepared the celebration under the able guidance of the teaching coordinators. The event began with candle lighting and prayer, followed by the vibrant dance performances by the tiny tots from classes KG to class II. The students mesmerized everyone with their melodious carols. The students of classes 7 and 11 danced beautifully to wish their teachers and classmates. The significance of the festival was explained by a meticulously organized skit by the students of class 7. A segment for exploring Christmas symbols were introduced in between each of the program. To culminate, Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam shared her delightful and wonderful thoughts on celebrating Christmas and New Year fervor and merriment. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all children when Santa Claus arrived on the campus with sweets & goodies for all.
