On the auspicious occasion of “Basant Panchami”, St. John’s School, Abu road celebrated it with great enthusiasm and joy. The programme was started with lamp lightening ceremony and prayer song. The students presented a group song and group dance to offer their obeisance to ‘Goddess Saraswati’. Siya Sharma of Class VIII B explained the significance of ‘Basant Panchami’. The Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam inspired the children to devotesly work hard to reach till their goal. The Chairman of the school Mr. K. A. Shyam Kumar ji encouraged the students for celebrating our Indian Culture and festivals. The programme was hosted by Ritika Vachanni of Class XI.
