International day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

Drug abuse is an epidemic that has plugged people of all ages for long time. Modern day drug usage has become a very serious issue and also has a very potent effect on children, pre teens and teenagers. Peer pressure and society play a pivotal role for the use or abuse of drugs. This is mainly due to the lack of understanding or guidance which can pose to be a huge threat to the life of the individual and growth of society. On the preset of the International day against Drug Abuse a poster exhibition was displayed where upon the effects of drugs on the life of an individual was showcased. This was followed by a seminar organized by Mrs. Madhuri Tiwari who brought to light the threat that drugs can pose for an individual, society and country. A powerful PPT with videos reflected the problems of this menace.
