Rang Manch Street Play (Nukkar Natak)

Rang Manch – The Street Play Competition was conducted on 19th November 2016. In St. John's School, Abu Road. Students from Classes from VI to X participated in the competition. A team of 15 students from each class performed the play. They focused on social issues like dowry, respect girl child, drug abuse, child labour, water conservation, dignity of labour, black money and developing India.

The whole atmosphere was charged when the performers performed on drum beats, beats of dholaks, majira, loud throats with jngles. The amalgamation of aggression, humour, passion, energy, expression and a powerful message left the audience and judges spell bound.

The competition was judged on the criteria of creativity, humor, clarity of message, props used costume and team work.

In first group Class VI B was declared winner and VII B first runner up, and in second group Class IX B was declared winner and IX A as runner up.
