Creations – Costume Design and Costume Parade Competition

Scholastic and Co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for the all round development of the child. Keeping this in view, we at St. John's School, Abu Road conducted the Costume Design and Costume Parade completion on 11th and 12th August 2016.

Our tiny tots showcased immense confidence and grace and faced the audience without any inhibitions. Many of them stepped on the stage for the first time.

The children dressed up in their colourful costumes and spoke a few sentences on the character that they depicted. Children portrayed various characters from the modern day technology to Indian mythology, politics and cartoon world. They came out with many innovative creative ideas.

For Costume Design competition students of Class IX and X designed the Costume and models displayed the Costumes. Many wonderful and creative costumes were designed by young designers.

The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of the audience. The effort and hard work of children was highly commendable. The energetic and charismatic performance were praised by the judges and audience.
