National Sports Day

St. John’s School, Abu Road celebrated National Sports Day by remembering Dhyan hand, the hockey wizard and his contribution to Sports. Various activities were conducted in the school such as Quiz, dances, speeches to commemorate his birth anniversary. A friendly football match was played. The Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam encouraged the students to participate in the games and be fit and healthy. The students were made aware regarding the importance of sports and games in one’s life. Direct telecast of PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Fit India Programme’ was shown to the students in the Multi Media Hall. An oath taking ceremony was also conducted alongwith it. .
