Through creative expression students learn to comprehend our world better and are therefore better equipped to navigate the challenges. Keeping this on mind the tune in @ SJS Radio and TV talk show was conducted on 6th and 7th August 2019, at St. John’s School, Abu Road. The students from Class VI to enthusiastically participated in the competition. The students of Class VI presented a News Round Up of 5 minutes. Class VII students presented an interview with famous personality. Class VIII students presented in depth News report, News story or a Feature story. Class IX students presented Game Commentary and Class X students presented Audio Drama. The entries were judged upon topic information, voice modulation story transitions, pronunciation and closing.
All the participants came well prepared, they used various techniques to keep themselves different and better than others. Some of the participants also used props to make their TV show more realistic and effective.
The audience seemed fully engrossed with the flow of the competition. This competition helped each participant to enhance the speaking skills and encouraged all the students to be more involved in the language while they are in the class.
The Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam lauded the efforts of the participants and remarked that such competitions enhance ability to use words effectively and would enable the students to create their own unique identity.
