Republic Day Celebration

Republic Day was celebrated in St. John’s School, Abu Road on 26th January 2020. The celebration began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam hoisted the flag followed by march-past and band. The programme began with melodious patriotic songs of primary students which uplifted the spirit of everyone followed by tricolour patriotic dance which enthralled the audience. The patriotic feeling and enthusiasm of the artists echoed the school. The spirit of patriotism coincided with award ceremony for the sports events which was held for the year 2019-20. Awards were given to various categories of events in sports. Master Yashpal Singh Deora of XII Science was honored with ‘Best Sportsmanship Award’ and Master Jaiditya Mishra of class XI Commerce as ‘Rising Star’ for 2019-20. The overall championship trophy was grabbed by Emerald House. The Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts made by the students in various events of the school.
