Investiture Ceremony

“Leadership and Learning are indispensible to each other”. St. John’s School Abu Road organized its investiture ceremony on July 6, 2019. The event began with the lighting up of the lamp by Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam and the teachers. It was an effervescent day that commenced with a lot of exuberance among the students. The newly elected Head Boy Master Yashpal Singh and Head Girl Ms. Avani Mehta acquainted the audience with their future plane for taking the school banner towards higher echelons. The sashes and badges were given to all council members and taking the responsibility of acting as a link between the management and students, they pledged to guide their peers and juniors. To celebrate the occasion, the students performed a beautiful dance. The event was further taken by an inspiring speech by the Principal where she highlighted the example of sunflower which turns towards the sun in its presence to receive energy and turns to each other and share the energy in the absence of the sun. The event was concluded with school song and the National Anthem.
