Earth Day

Earth Day – Celebration The 4th week of April 2018 marked the celebration for the Earth Day. It was a great week in which students actively participated in educational and fun activities. On 21st April, 2018 a cultural programme was organized by a group of students. The school choir sang a melodious song on nature. A play was staged that highlighted the need of maintaining ecological balance and how animals and birds are affected by cutting trees. The mime act touched the soul of audience who promised to protect the greenery and the natural resources. The beauty and the bounty that our plant has generously bestowed upon us by translating our vision of a clean and green world was depicted by a dance performance. The Principal of the school Mrs. Uma Shyam urged the students that it’s high time we make every day the Earth Day. Earth Day, is more of a call for action than a celebration. Keeping this in mind various activities were planned for all the students. These activities helped to create environmental consciousness among the students which is the need of the hour.
