Maths Day Celebration

“Mathematics is a great motivater for all human… Because its career starts with “Zero”, but it never ends”. Wow! What a fun it was to play with numbers; for the students of St. John’s School, Abu who Road celebrated Maths Day on 18th December 2018. The students of classes VI, VII and VIII assembled in the activity room which was decorated by the students with many charts & models prepared by the students. A mock children’s market was set up from which the students purchased many things and learnt the art of money transaction. The students also enjoyed playing magical mathematical games. The highlight of the day was the seminar organized by the students. The confident speakers spoke about the great mathematicians. Manovi Maindad of Class VII A, Siya Sharma of Class VII B, Joshita Bhardwaj, Khushi Kumari and Mamta Chaudhary of Class VIII A familiarized the students with the great Mathematicians like Sir Ramanujan, Aryabhatta, Pythagoral, Bhaskara and many more. The audience were also quizzed on the concepts of Maths. The Principal, Mrs. Uma Shyam told the students that Maths can change one’s life; no one is born brilliant but hard work makes a person brilliant. Maths runs everywhere in our life so enjoy it.
