One Nation Reading Together

To celebrate the pleasure of reading St. John’s School, Abu Road in collaboration with Scholastic India participated in One Nation Reading Together on 23rd November, 2018. Children from Class I to class XII picked up a book of their choice and read. Prior to reading students took a pledge. Students also prepared colourful and thoughtful Graffiti wall on which they wrote their thoughts on reading and why they like to read. The prepared chart was placed on the Bulletin Board. Followed by the reading activity many fun filled, creative and interesting activities were conducted. Students dressed up as their favourite book characters and spoke dialogues. The students wrote story, poems and also identified the character of the story by the given clues. It was a pleasure and enriching experience.
