Republic Day

The 70th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at St. John’s School, Abu Road on 26th January 2019. The day begun with a prayer followed by the flag hoisting by the Chairman of the School Mr. K. A. Shyam Kumar. The school band played a note and the synchronized movements of the students in parade intensified the grandeur of the occasion. The choir group presented the patriotic songs which reverberated in the surrounding. It was followed by patriotic dances, speech and skit. The Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam addressed the students and gave examples of the children who received the ‘National Bravery Award’ and encouraged the students to be brave and up hold the honor, integrity, diversity and uniqueness of “India”. The student dispersed after snacks with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their minds.
