Diwali Celebration

Diwali the auspicious festival of light that brings joy peace and prosperity was celebrated in St. John’s School, Abu Road with devotion and enthusiasm. The programme began with lighting the lamp and worshiping Goddess Lakshmi and God Ganesha. The energetic and charismatic dance performance put forth by students not only entertained the audience but also gave powerful message of cherishing Indian culture and heritage. The melody was in the air when SJS, choir sang songs on Diwali. The students of class one presented a dance which took everyone to the magical world where there is no pain and every one is happy. They also requested the audience to celebrate eco – friendly Diwali. The dance Drama presented by the students on the life of Lord Ram talked about how good always conquered the evil. The programme concluded with a message from the Principal Mrs. Uma Shyam. She emphesised on radiating happiness in the society and being thankful to all people who are serving the society selflessly.
