Dry Fruit Day

Keeping in view the benefits and importance of eating dry fruits KG classes celebrated Dry Fruit Day. The students were asked to bring some dry fruits with them and were asked to get a prepared item using nuts. Teachers explained the benefits and method of consuming dry fruits. Students brought packets of dry Fruits and with the help of teachers arranged them artistically on a sheet of paper. It was not only fascinating but also informative for the students to discover the different kinds of nuts such as apricot, dates, figs, cashew nuts, pistachio, almonds, raisins etc. The students also prepared sweet rolls using crushed dry fruits. This activity engaged students in the learning process and created increased interest, awareness and support for eating dry fruits.
