Fruitful Fruit Day

The kids from Class LKG and HKG celebrated Fruit Day with an objective to create love for fruits. The children came dressed as various fruits. Parents actively participated in the event and made the fruit costumes for their children. The children doned the ramp in their colourful costumes. They also brought their favourite fruit to school. Teachers used delightful ways of making kids understand the importance of having fruits in their diet. They sang fruit songs and poems. The students visited the nearby hospital and interacted with the doctors who explained the importance of fruits intake in diet for mental and physical growth. They also visited a fruit shop where they learnt about the taste, smell colour and texture of each fruit. They saw various ways to get fresh juice from fruit. They enjoyed the special fruit juice and fruit salad. The teachers thanked the parents for preparing students to participate in the programme.
