Nurturing

It is said that “Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality”. On the vibrant morning of 1st July, 2017 the deserving young leaders of St. John’s School, Abu Road were bestowed with the responsibility of leading the school. The Investiture Ceremony was held with great dignity at the Assembly Ground. It commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer song. An energetic dance performance motivated the students further. Thereafter the newly elected school leaders took charge of their offices. With the vigorous beats of the drums the new council marched in procession up the aisle and on to the stage. The council members received their sashes and badges from the Principal and their house teachers. The Principal, Mrs. Uma Shyam administered the oath to the members of the council and the members of the council pledged to live up to the school moto, “Tamso Ma Jyotira Gamaya”. The Principal congratulated the office bearers and motivated them to deliver their responsibilities to the best of their abilities and expressed desire that the newly inducted council will be the role model for other students. She narrated the inspiring anecdotes said that hurdles can not stop a person to succeed in life. If one desires to achieve something ‘sky is the limit’. The programme was anchored by Anushka Chakrabarti, Niyati Agarwal, Austin William and Himanshu Panwar concluded with National Anthem.
