Education : A driver for Sustainable Development

Radio Madhuban in collaboration with St. John’s School, Abu Road organized a Youth Summit for the students of classes IX to XII. It was a highly engaging conference styled on the format of the UN conference where students elicited and contributed to the discussions and debate. The theme for the Summit was “Education: A driver for Sustainable Development”. The event lasted for 3 hours with 3 breakout sessions each on a different sub-theme as: 1: Primary Education in Rural Areas in and around Abu Road. 2: Education for all. The conference significantly enhanced key skills among students like public speaking, critical thinking, policy analysis and encouraged them to shape and share their ideas and opinions an the themes. This was a unique opportunity for students to prepare themselves for a better future. 75 students participated in the Summit.
